The Falcon rocket, which is on a launch pad at Kennedy Space Center, was almost launched early Saturday morning when a computer shut down its engines at the moment of liftoff. SpaceX said the “flight computer detected a slightly high pressure in the engine 5 combustion chamber.”
Both NASA and SpaceX were crossing their fingers that the company could become the first private spacecraft to dock with the International Space Station this week.
