No I-565 exit sign for Jordan Lane South explained by DOT official

Johnny Harris, the Alabama Department of Transportation division engineer for this area, said there is not a sign for Jordan Lane South because Jordan Lane only goes one block to the south and is a city street that turns into Patton Road at Bob Wallace Avenue.

The north end of the new northbound Memorial Parkway limited access road is causing a bottleneck at Mastin Lake Road that several readers have said is dangerous, but the state Department of Transportation has no plans to make any changes there for at least five years.
