MOBILE, Alabama — A federal judge last week refused to enforce a settlement agreement in a labor exploitation lawsuit because the arbitrator in the case has not yet ruled on a request by the plaintiffs’ lawyer to clarify his decision.
“That’s why I say appearances may be that that’s an indication that Huntsville is being treated as a stepchild,” trustee John England said. “I’m saying that’s just not the case. I know. I’m on (the board).”
