Dr. Bruce Chabner, a Harvard professor and celebrated oncologist who helped develop the cancer drug Taxol, has agreed to lead an advisory panel for the University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute in Mobile as they strive for National Cancer Institute designation.
