We can’t legislate morality but legislation does raise public awareness. For every 6 seconds a driver spends texting, 4.6 of those seconds are with their eyes off the road, which makes texting the most dangerous cell phone activity….maybe its better to identify the worst distraction instead of throwing our hands in the air and diluting the text and drive danger by saying things like ‘its dangerous to eat and drive too’. I think texting is cool but I know texting while driving is lethal!
